Join us on Tuesday, August 18 at 7 PM for Texas Talks featuring Elizabeth Hansen of the Texas Archive of the Moving Image (TAMI). 

Elizabeth will discuss TAMI's work to discover, preserve, and provide public access to the vibrant cinematic history of the Lone Star State. TAMI will discuss their organization's history, highlight their statewide Texas Film Round-Up preservation program, and share a curated selection of incredible archival film clips that bring Texas history to life.

Founded in 2003 by Dr. Caroline Frick, the Texas Archive of the Moving Image is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to discovering, preserving, and sharing the cinematic heritage of the Lone Star State. TAMI doesn't just save "celluloid and magnetic tape; we are safeguarding the collective memory of all Texans. Our online library features thousands of moving images, including home movies, amateur films, advertisements, local television, and industrial films created in Texas."
