For generations, TSHA has connected people with the stories that define Texas.
The Texas State Historical Association is one of the nation's leading organizations dedicated to state history. Our work includes the Handbook of Texas, a trusted resource for students, educators, researchers, journalists, and readers around the world; programs that encourage young Texans to discover and interpret history; opportunities for scholars to share new research; and a statewide community committed to preserving our shared past.
